Doodling Meet-up is now online. This class will be both a one-on-one experience with Eleni Litt and a great opportunity to connect with other students with similar interests. You must have internet on a device with a built in camera to participate.Doodling Meet-up continues to meet online and is a class that can be repeated! It's a one-on-one experience with Teaching Artist Eleni Litt and an opportunity to connect with other students in a playful non-judgmental environment. You don't need to think of yourself as an artist or have fancy art supplies to explore this free-form art practice. Join Eleni for art-making with prompts based on themes to get things started. The class can be repeated any number of times as themes and prompts are always new. Along the way, we'll learn new techniques, reflect on life, and treat ourselves to some playful time! Enjoy making your mark with others in community. No Art Experience Necessary!
Supplies will be reviewed in the first class. The following are a good start: paper, an art journal, pencils, pens, markers, crayons, oil pastels, water color, acrylic paints, brushes, cups for water, paper plates for palettes.
About the Teaching Artist
Eleni Litt is a teaching artist, creativity coach and founder of Yellow Ladder Studio. A graduate of the London School of Economics (PhD, Social Anthropology) and Reed College (BA, Art History), she has spent the majority of her professional career in higher education (currently serving as Associate Provost at The New School in NYC) even as she cultivates a lifelong creative arts practice. Along the way she obtained Certificates in Fine Arts (Parsons School of Design) and Creative Arts Therapies (The New School). Eleni loves to make art in community, sharing her unique approach to art expression that incorporates poetry and a variety of art techniques to explore values, thoughts and feelings.
