Description
Watercolor Studio is an online class. This class will provide children a studio experience from their own home. All lessons will be led by our Teaching Artist Sarika Soman and allow your child to socialize with other students in the class. You must have internet on a device with a built in camera to participate. Explore the wonderful world of watercolor! Experiment with a variety of exciting watercolor techniques and learn how to create vibrant nature scenes and animals. Great for beginners as well as an opportunity for more advanced painters to expand their skills. *This class is a part of our Certificate in Fine Arts Program and will give each student one point towards their CiFA certification. New and continuing students welcome.

1. Watercolor Palette
2. Strathmore Watercolor Paper Pad 9x12
3. Paintbrush set
4. Blue painting tape
5. Pencil
6. Eraser
7. Pencil sharpener
8. Water cup
9. Small container or tube of white acrylic paint
10. Paper Towels
About the Teaching Artist
Sarika Soman holds a Masters Degree in Fine Arts (Painting Specialization) from India. With over 15+ years of experience in drawing and painting she is best known for her colorful and vibrant watercolor landscapes, still life and abstract paintings. She has participated in showcasing her work in group shows as well as in solo exhibitions. She is passionate about art education and believes strongly in teaching both children and adults the skills that can enable them to draw and paint realistically. A favorite quote of Claude Monet : The richness I achieve comes from Nature, the source of my inspiration.
