Description

Come one and all to celebrate fall! Participants will create several pieces to add that personal touch to the Thanksgiving table that will surely be brought out year after year:

- Give Thanks Banner
- Pinecone Place Markers
- Leafy Tealight Jars

Your workshop fee includes all materials necessary to complete several instructor-led projects. This will be a relaxing activity for school friends or families to engage in some artistic fun while making memories on their day off together.

Adults are now required to provide proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test taken within 2 days of the in-person event or class. Classes, workshops, and events held in all spaces at the art center and Whole World Arts utilize an HVAC system supplemented with portable HEPA filtration systems. Classes and event seating are spaced appropriately to allow 3 - 6 ft. of social distancing. Acrylic barriers are utilized, as needed. Mask wearing is strongly encouraged for all adults, and required for all youth classes. All our staff and Teaching Artists have been vaccinated. High-touch surfaces are wiped down regularly using certified cleaning agents. Hand sanitizer is available in all spaces. Youth visual arts classes have their own sanitized art supplies to be used.

 

 
About the Teaching Artist

Graphic designer Kiki Parry brings 25+ years experience in the arts, including teaching and operating her own greeting card and custom stationary business. Her degree in in Advertising and Psychology from Boston University’s College of Communication helps her every day. In the past Kiki has created album packaging for the independent music industry and fronted a rock band. After becoming a Mom, she took her Art Directing skills home, founding her local business Alternate Greetings. Kiki's perspective as a WW-P parent and art teacher will add a unique and playful energy to this new offering at the WWA.
