Description
In this after school class we will focus on 3D creations to use in our everyday life or package up as meaningful holiday gifts. We will work with clay, upcycled objects, and textiles to create a different one of a kind creation each session including an animal ring holder and a personalized photo frame.
Materials fee of $15 due first day. Location: Whole World Arts, Princeton MarketFair (near AMC theater).
Covid Protocols: Classes and workshops held in all spaces at the art center and Whole World Arts utilize an HVAC system supplemented with portable HEPA filtration systems. Fresh air is introduced whenever possible. Classes are spaced appropriately to allow 3 - 6 ft. of social distancing. Acrylic barriers are utilized, as needed. Mask wearing is strongly encouraged for all adults regardless of vaccination status, and required for all youth classes. All our staff and Teaching Artists have been vaccinated. High-touch surfaces are wiped down regularly using certified cleaning agents. Hand sanitizer is available in all classrooms. Youth visual arts classes have their own sanitized art supplies to be used.
Graphic designer Kiki Parry brings 25+ years experience in the arts, including teaching and operating her own greeting card and custom stationary business. Her degree in in Advertising and Psychology from Boston University’s College of Communication helps her every day. In the past Kiki has created album packaging for the independent music industry and fronted a rock band. After becoming a Mom, she took her Art Directing skills home, founding her local business Alternate Greetings. Kiki's perspective as a WW-P parent and art teacher will add a unique and playful energy to this new offering at the WWA.
