Description

It's never too early to make art! In this class, little artists (and their parent or caregiver) will explore and cultivate creativity through various art mediums. Young ones will experiment with a variety of media while developing their fine motor, sensory, and learning skills. This class is about having fun while getting artistic juices flowing. With a flexible and positive learning environment, our tiny apprentices' imaginations will be nurtured and soar! New and continuing students welcome. New projects and mediumms will be explored! Price includes one caregiver and one child. Materials fee of $15 due first day. Location: Whole World Arts, Princeton MarketFair (near AMC theater).

Covid Protocols: Adults are now required to provide proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test taken within 2 days of the in-person event or class. Classes, workshops, and events held in all spaces at the art center and Whole World Arts utilize an HVAC system supplemented with portable HEPA filtration systems. Classes and event seating are spaced appropriately to allow 3 - 6 ft. of social distancing. Acrylic barriers are utilized, as needed. Mask wearing is strongly encouraged for all adults, and required for all youth classes. All our staff and Teaching Artists have been vaccinated. High-touch surfaces are wiped down regularly using certified cleaning agents. Hand sanitizer is available in all spaces. Youth visual arts classes have their own sanitized art supplies to be used.

About the Teaching Artist

Graphic designer Kiki Parry brings 25+ years experience in the arts, including teaching and operating her own greeting card and custom stationary business. Her degree in in Advertising and Psychology from Boston University’s College of Communication helps her every day. In the past Kiki has created album packaging for the independent music industry and fronted a rock band. After becoming a Mom, she took her Art Directing skills home, founding her local business Alternate Greetings. Kiki's perspective as a WW-P parent and art teacher will add a unique and playful energy to this new offering at the WWA.
