Students will explore color relationships, hues, tones, shading, texture, and light sources while practicing techniques such as scribbling, cross-hatching, stippling, and other mark-making methods to create depth, dimension, and realistic details. By studying form, proportion, and observation, students will strengthen their ability to capture the unique features of their subjects and develop confidence in their artistic abilities.
