Thursday: Drawing and Painting (Ages 8-12)

This engaging class will alternate between drawing and painting as students create a variety of exciting projects inspired by landscapes, animals, still life, and more. Along the way, young artists will strengthen their observation skills, explore composition, and build confidence using a range of artistic techniques. Whether your child is just beginning or has previous art experience, this class is designed for all skill levels. The class fosters a relaxed, encouraging environment where creativity and curiosity can thrive while students build artistic skills and explore new techniques.

Students will work with a variety of art materials, including chalk pastel, charcoal, graphite, watercolor, acrylic paint, and more, while learning techniques that help bring their ideas to life. New projects and subject matter are introduced each semester, making this class a great fit for both new and returning students.

A one-time materials fee of $50 is due on the first day of class.
