Saturday: Digital Illustration (Ages 10-14)

In this class, students will explore a variety of creative projects while building a strong foundation in digital art using beginner-friendly digital illustration programs. As they learn the tools and techniques of digital drawing, students will also receive instruction in character design, setting and environment design, book cover design, perspective drawing, color, composition, and more.

By the end of the class, students will have created a diverse portfolio of digital illustrations using a range of artistic techniques and creative processes. Along the way, they'll develop an understanding of visual storytelling, learning how to create engaging artwork and compelling narratives that connect with an audience.

New projects and topics will be introduced throughout the course, making the class an exciting experience for both new and returning students. The drawing app Procreate will be the primary software used in class. iPads are provided on loan for each student to use throughout the duration of the course.

A one-time materials fee of $15 is due on the first day of class.
