Are you interested in becoming a more well-spoken and confident actor? In this fun and engaging class, students will develop foundational acting skills while exploring creativity, self-expression, and the art of storytelling. Young actors will learn how to work collaboratively as a group, improvise, follow directions, create memorable characters, and bring stories to life through performance. Through theater games, activities, and exercises, students will build important skills such as focus, communication, active listening, and confidence on stage. Each class encourages imagination, teamwork, and a supportive environment where students can develop their performance skills and discover their unique voice as performers.

Come join us and explore what kind of character you can become! Families are invited to celebrate students’ hard work and creativity with a performance on the final day of class.

In Studio Art Exploration, students will discover their creativity while developing new artistic skills through hands-on projects using a variety of media, including graphite, charcoal, acrylic paint, watercolor, collage, clay, and more. Each class will introduce students to new techniques, artistic concepts, and creative approaches in a supportive and encouraging environment where experimentation is celebrated.

New and returning students are welcome! Each session will feature fresh projects, new techniques, and different artistic explorations, making this class a fun and engaging experience for both first-time artists and returning students looking to continue building their skills.

Inspired by themes such as the changing seasons, holidays, and the work of renowned artists like Vincent Van Gogh and Georgia O’Keeffe, students will explore different styles, materials, and methods while creating unique works of art. Every project is designed to encourage imagination, build confidence, and give students the opportunity to learn, experiment, express themselves, and most importantly, have fun!

A one-time materials fee of $50 is due on the first day of class.

Beginners and experienced painters alike will enjoy this engaging watercolor class. Students will learn and practice fundamental watercolor techniques, including wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, masking, watercolor blooms, and splatter effects, while creating a beautiful finished painting each week. Projects will explore a variety of subjects, such as landscapes, florals, animals, and more, helping students build confidence and expand their artistic skills.

Materials to bring to first class: 9x12” watercolor paper (recommended: Strathmore brand or Canson brand); tube or pan watercolors (depending on student preference and budget) - small to medium set (recommended brands: Winsor and Newton, Cotman, Sargent). A small tube of white acrylic paint, Watercolor brush set, mixing tray/palette, cup to hold water, toothbrush.

West Windsor Arts warmly invites the community to experience Golu 2026: The Ten Avatars of Vishnu, a two-day celebration of art, culture, music, and community inspired by the South Indian festival of Navratri. This event is a fundraiser for West Windsor Arts. Tickets are required each day for everyone aged 5 and older. Children under 5 years are free.

Join us for a fast-paced, low-pressure creative writing workshop designed to get ideas flowing and words on the page. We’ll begin by reading three short flash fiction pieces (under 1,000 words) and briefly discussing what makes them work. Then we’ll dive into writing, using three guided prompts to spark ideas and keep momentum going. By the end of the session, you’ll have drafted three original flash pieces and maybe discovered a few fresh creative directions along the way. Sharing is encouraged but always optional. This is a supportive, judgment-free space for writers of all levels. Come ready to write, experiment, and connect with others in a creative community.

Artists are invited to our artist to artist meetup collaboration with Hightstown Cultural Arts Commission, held in person at the arts center. Join the group to share your art and your ideas. Consider this a judgement free zone to share and learn from each other. WWA seeks to build artist to artist relationships, creating a positive and supportive environment for all. Similar to the worldwide dance movement, No Lights No Lycra, NYC transplant and WWAC Teaching Artist, Shira Gregory intends to bring this beautiful practice to our community with DANCING IN THE DARK. Dance is therapy, dance is cleansing, and dance ultimately, is for everybody and every body.
