Artist Statement: From the Shade of a Sycamore is an outdoor painting of a tree at Mercer County Park under which I occasionally take a rest during bicycle rides.
Bio: Carlo Fiorentini, architect, Italian born, practiced oil painting since age fourteen. Have taken art courses at MCCC after retirement from international construction in 2014. Have experimented with "geometry-in-Art" and other abstract approaches. Currently making portraits and other figurative themes.
