Artist Statement: I like to make beautiful,interesting and also useful items, people can enjoy.
My artwork has a very conventional and functional form, but the decoration is unique and my personal creation.
Bio: Christa studied History of Art and Psychology in Paris/France and in Brussels/Belgium. In Belgium she learned and worked with Ceramics with private teachers and also at the University of Brussels (ULB) but must of her professional live was as a psychologist. In 2000 she moved to Princeton NJ and could devote all her time to art and Creativity. She studied at MCCC with Professor Micheal Welliver. She works in Mercer County and has participated in various exhibitions such as MCCC Gallery,Trenton City Museum: Ellarslie, Gourgaud Gallery, Artsbridge and more. Christa creates functional and unusual Pottery and she likes to make sculptural Ceramics.
