12 x 5 x 12 inches

Artist Statement: This is the largest of many, many artworks I have done that incorporate turtle shells or turtle shell imagery. This platter was impressed with a real snapping turtle shell that was in my collection. It is a prehistoric pattern, enhanced by the transparent celadon glaze and rough stacked foot ring stem.
