Artist Statement: “Origin Point” speaks a mythopoetic language of intersection, possibilities, new beginnings and hope. The texture of the material allows an expression of a subtle energy and color behind emerging forms. This piece evokes ancient memories unfolding in the present. In my art new ideas emerge from the process of assimilating motifs from ancient cultures.
