Teahouse: One Tzfat Street by Meta Arnold

Artist Statement: This little door and window cut into the canvas lead to an imaginary tea house. I was thinking of pictures of Tzfat when I painted the door blue, but this could be the old quarter of many cities. The fabric scraps are from India, the door is off a jewelry box, the beams are from a set of math toys, and the silver tea cups are spacer beads sitting on a brass "tray" from a champagne cork. I plan to make more tea shop canvases, so this is number "One."
The sale price will be split with 50% going to the artist and 50% going to West Windsor Arts
