Artist Statement: “Mininness” is a relief sculpture, inspired by the landscapes of George Inness, celebrating and calling for protection of the environment. “Mininness” is one artwork from the series of Inness studies by the sculptor Barbara Wallace. Wallace explores three dimensionally some of the aspects of the artist George Inness who lived and painted in New Jersey during the 19th century. Both artists engage in using the environment as a means to spiritual endeavor and elevation.
The sale price will be split with 50% going to the artist and 50% going to West Windsor Arts
