Artist Statement: This piece uses a play on words "Rusting over Time."" The artwork represents time passing, a physical version, using rusting metal over some wristwatch clocks, all three showing shortly before 12 or midnight...the meaning open to indivitual interpretation by the viewer.
Bio: D.J. Haslett is an award-winning artist, an award-winning photographer, published poet and musician. Self-taught, Haslett started his art career at age 49. His work has been shown extensively in over 100 exhibits including an International Exhibit in New York City, the da Vinci Gallery in Philadelphia, and The Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ. Haslett serves as Assistant-Curator of the Hamilton Free Public Library Art Collection, Member and Trustee of the Hammton Art Center, Member of the West Windsor Arts Counci, and Sustaining-Member of Public Radio WRTi.
