Artist Statement: La Primavera (spring) evokes a time of rebirth and renewal as the natural world stirs. After the long dark winter season, springtime sees new growth with budding trees and greener colors. Nature emerges with warmth; birds feed their newborn with worms emerging from warmer soil, and we feel inspired with the longer days and more light available to all of us.
Bio: Renee Kumar works in mixed media/collage. Kumar's work has been exhibited in venues throughout the region and have won numerous awards. She was 1st prize/runner up/mixed media at Ellarslie 2022. Ms. Kumar draws inspiration through nature and children's art . Her work hands in public and private collections, locally including Mercer County's permanent collection and Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center.
