Artist Statement: How often have we passed one another without even looking up? Too involved with social media perhaps. The pandemic created a newer distance between us. Do we acknowledge one another now that we wear a mask or do we separate ourselves even more? As things are now settling down why do we still seem to disappear or just fade in the distance?
Bio: A resident of West Windsor, Lori Langsner has had a rewarding career in arts education in the NYC Public Schools. Continuing her studies at the Art Students League, Princeton Arts Council, and Mercer County Community College, her focus is on “en plein air” paintings in oils, and still lifes. Her inspiration comes from nature and her surroundings. She is presently teaching oil painting classes to adults at West Windsor Arts Council.
