Artist Statement: Solitude just off the busy streets of Princeton
Jersey Inspiration: Just minutes off a major thoroughfare in Princeton NJ, peace and solitude.
Bio: As a child and young adult I always enjoyed drawing. Working , starting a family, taking care of a home took up most of my creative energy for many years. Once my two sons were grown and I retired from my career as a nurse I was able to rekindle my desire to draw and paint. About four years ago started taking classes with Juanita Yoder and then Susan Winter at The Art Station in HIghtstown NJ. I really enjoy exploring New Jersey and bringing those landscapes to life using pastels.
