Artist Statement: "Hug 3" is one of my original designs: sculpted, molds made and work cast. It is porcelain and individually glazed. It can be hung and comes with a small easel for display as well. It has its own box. It was designed out of our experiences in the past few years: the Pandemic keeping us from embracing friends and family, the deepening political divide, the spectre of war in our world.
Bio: I am a ceramic artist based in Metuchen, NJ for the past 30 years. The majority of my work is wall sculpture, much permanently installed, as well as moveable. Additionally, I have exhibited widely throughout the state and beyond.
