Artist Statement: Peacocks represent beauty in nature, as well as renewal and new energy. I hope to bring beauty and energy to anyone who sees this piece.
Bio: Dr. Sharon Joag is currently in her last year at Columbia University, completing her Masters in Social Work. She is working at Jersey Innovative Services as a Behavioral Assistant, and is interning at Oaks Integrated in New Jersey. She retired from her profession as a Podiatrist after working for 17 years. She is now able to continue to do what she loves in helping people in the mental health field, and she has more time to devote to her passion for art, and art therapy.
