Artist Statement: At the time I created Early Summer, I was interested in lattice patterns and symbolism. This particular lattice design seemed to reflect the disarray of the dandelions
Bio: I have been an artist my entire life. My earliest memories are of making art. I studied privately and at Illinois State University where I earned a BS in Art Ed and a MS in Studio Art. I've been in innumerable juried exhibitions and have had about a dozen solo shows. I'm a member of most of the area arts organizations. I am also a published poet and often combine my poetry with my visual artwork.
