Artist Statement: I was inspired to do this painting by the colorful landscapes in New Jersey. It's oil on canvas and I have used layers of colors to highlight the depth and texture.
Bio: Zakia Aziz Ahmed, an award winning artist is a longtime resident of West Windsor. She likes to work in oil in a semi-abstract style. Currently she is teaching at WWAC oil painting for adults. She also teaches children and adults privately in all mediums.
