Artist Statement: Layers of color and texture radiate in this golden glow that reminds me of all of the joys summer brings.
Bio: Sharri Carlin is a full-time elementary art teacher during the day and abstract artist at night. She describes her work as "A little boho, a little hippie, and a lot of heart and soul". Although she has painted her whole life, it wasn’t until February 2021 that she began her art business, “Hippieheartandsoul”. On weekends you can find Sharri vending at local craft festivals, spending time in nature, and hanging out with her family. As a Pisces, Sharri’s artwork often draws inspiration from her constant dream-like state of mind. It radiates a pure positive energy and appeals to those who appreciate an artistic imagination.
