Artist Statement: Columbine Garden was created from a place in my yard. In the art I use layers of digital images, acrylic paint and various textures created with lace paper. I am always amazed at the purple columbine, with its delicate details, to be much hardier than you would think. I hope the viewer finds that same hardiness in their garden.
Bio: Kimberly began her photography career as a commercial photographer. She has photographed for major corporations, advertising agencies and editorial publications. Her work has won several awards including inclusion in the book and exhibition Ten Thousand Eyes, ASMP and was awarded the Award of Excellence from Communication Arts Photography Annual. As an artist, her work is inspired from her perception of nature and her photography, often combining the two. She currently works for West Windsor Arts.
