Bio: I received my BFA and MFA from the Rochester Institute of Technology. My career was spent as an art educator and entrepreneur. I initially taught elementary art, after which I opened Harmony in Wood, a shop in Pittsford, NY, where I sold the work of over 200 American craftspeople who worked in wood. A second shop was located in Rochester. In addition, I owned an art gallery in Pittsford selling both 2 and 3 dimensional art. RIT invited me to mentor woodworking students and share my experience regarding the ins and outs of marketing their work. I was also a member of NAWBO, the National Assoc.of Women Business Owners.
