Bio: René loves to paint in watercolor, depicting flowers, landscapes, and portraits. After many years as an illustrator and graphic designer, René is now able to devote herself to watercolor painting, which she discovered at WWPHS in Susan Swartz’s art classes, having grown up in West Windsor. René designed the Seal of the Township of West Windsor when she was a sophomore at WWPHS in 1975. Her design was chosen in the competition to create the Bicentennial Seal for 1976 when she was a sophomore at WWPHS. A year later it was adopted as the official Seal. René lives in East Windsor with her wonderful husband Tom, and they are so proud of their two musical sons, Billie and Chris.
