Artist Statement: Psyche is a Greek God that is often represented as a butterfly. The eye symbolizes all knowing and is at the center of the art. Some species of butterfly do have markings in the form of an eye.
Bio: I have always enjoyed art for as long as I can remember. Over the years, it has been a hobby of mine, which has become more of a way of life for me. I draw, and paint (primarily watercolor or acrylic) almost everyday in my spare time. I have an art room at home, and I have started to enter contests and am in the lookout for member art events. So far I have sold 4 art pieces, and I hope to continue learning and experiencing art. It has become a mindfulness practice for me as well. More recently I have started doing Neurographic art with some of my therapy groups at work.
