Artist Statement: Multiple techniques are used to create a juxtaposition between the stoic, resolute mountains and the playful, cartwheeling gale that howls in and around them. Tfhis piece is a celebration of color and the many different ways that paint can be utilized to evoke various states of being. My hope is that by providing many textures and patterns the viewer's eye will also enjoy a playful romp around the canvas.
Bio: I am an acrylics artist living in West Windsor, NJ. Prior to living here I lived in Colorado, California, New York, and many other parts of the country and enjoy hiking, painting, cooking,. I take inspiration in the places I've been, my 2 wild girls and husband who indulges my art habit, and will often add my dog into the pieces I create.
