Statement: My third piece to feature a pair of enigmatic mermaids. Here they are almost hidden among pearls and seashells, while a vintage seahorse decoration peeps from between draped nets.
Bio: Meta Dunkly Arnold teaches classes in mixed media and assemblage for kids and adults here at the West Windsor Arts Center and at Art Sparks Studio in Hopewell. Her work explores unexpected connections through lighting, layers, and kinetic and interactive features that invite the viewer to join her process of discovery.
