Artist Statement: As a self-taught artist specializing in bead weaving, I create intricate wearable art that bridges the gap between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design. My work is deeply inspired by geometric patterns and vibrant colors, drawing influence from nature, mosaics and cultural motifs. Using precision Japanese glass cylinder beads, I meticulously weave each piece, allowing the interplay of light and texture to bring my designs to life.

In my practice, I seek to merge traditional patterns with modern beading techniques, creating a dialogue between the past and the present. Each piece tells a story, inviting the wearer to become part of a larger narrative woven through history, culture, and personal expression. My goal is to transform beads into dynamic compositions that celebrate both form and function, offering a unique aesthetic experience.

I envision my art not just as adornment, but as a form of self-expression that resonates with the individuality of each wearer. By infusing my creations with a sense of intention and precision, I hope to evoke feelings of connection, joy, and appreciation for the artistry behind each bead.
Through my work, I invite others to explore the beauty of craftsmanship and the power of wearable art, fostering a deeper appreciation for the stories embedded in every piece.
