Connection to the theme: Home is deep and intimate. Something that comes with us and maybe we don´t know how or where. Home is a dream about shapes, fragrances, colors, and landscapes; remember rhythms, aromas, or textures. We recognize things without knowing. Everything emerges from our head, like a dream that goes back. Our identity makes us diverse and unique, but united in a great community.
Artist Statement: I am a visual artist since I was very young. To me, art is a way of living. My works show daily facts, full of happiness and joy in simple things. Most of my work is abstract, however, figuration is always present. In every work, it is possible to find moments, feelings, places, and spaces. The varied geographies I've visited were key sources of my inspiration. The colors I make use of are intense and significant, but simply cheerful. The lines are strong but sensitive, intense but uninhibited, and along with the colors, they are the most relevant elements in my work; interacting together to create a balance, and helping to let the moment's intention flow. Art to me is a way of expressing, communicating, and transmitting. Each of my works try to present people with freshness, gentleness, and joy of a becoming better world.
Bio: As a multifaceted visual artist, I developed various techniques, including painting, murals, mosaics, graffiti, inks, and screen printing.
I work as a set designer, both in plays and operas, commercial stores, and children's stages. His studies began with Architecture, later changed to the School of Fine Arts "Carlos Morel" and the National School of Fine Arts "Prilidiano Pueyrredón" (Buenos Aires, Argentina).
After years of teaching Visual Arts, he enrolls in scenography classes at the "Universidad del Salvador". He also studied photography.
He taught classes from elementary school to university level. In 2008 he traveled to Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, Palma de Mallorca, Paris, southern France, Rome, Venice, and Scandinavia, which has been a great influence on his work.
In New York, I design the cover of the album Art of Two. He designed logos for Navajo ranches in Utah. Its design was a finalist to cover public buses in the city of Charlottesville, Virginia. Two designs selected the finalists for a mural in Oviedo, Florida. He is currently developing the cover of a book.
