Bio: Kate Eggleston is a multidisciplinary artist and art educator (18+ years) living in NJ. Her primary subject matter involves body image, female domesticity, and repetition. She leans into the discordant moments of her life and shifts that discomfort towards a process-driven studio practice through works on paper, sculpture, and fiber. Eggleston has exhibited solo shows at Smush Gallery, Artworks Trenton, and the Monmouth Museum. She has also participated in a variety of group shows such as the NJ Arts Annual, Monmouth Arts Council Annual, and the Trenton City Museum at Ellarslie. In 2025, Eggleston was an artist-in-residence at Elf School of the Arts in NC, and is currently a resident of the Liquitex at Manufacturers Village in NJ. In 2022, she was awarded the TRANSITional Fiber Art Grant from NJTransit and Mid Atlantic Arts to install site specific quilts at the New Brunswick Train Station. She lives in NJ with her husband, 11-year-old daughter, and dogs June and Lucy.
