Artist Statement: As someone who has struggled with "the blues," I was inspired by the Eiffel 65 song "Blue (Da Ba Dee)." Being a flower portrait photographer who uses the medium as an escape, I found converting this tulip to blue expressed my visual story in art. I also have been exploring cyanotype creation, which yields blue and white images.
Bio: Kathleen is a photographer specializing in flower portraits. She has exhibited in shows in New York City and Princeton and West Windsor, New Jersey.
