Artist Statement: To me, painting is a personal journey of self-discovery. I am able to create a wonderful feeling of inner peace when outdoors painting “en plein air”. Becoming one with nature and its surroundings; gentle breezes, quiet sounds, and fresh air all help me create my personal vision.
Bio: After a rewarding career in art education, I’ve now moved my focus back to my own personal artwork. As a resident of West Windsor, I’ve continued my studies at Art Students League, Princeton Arts Council, and Mercer County Community College. My focus is “en plein air” and still life paintings in oils. I am presently teaching adult oil painting classes at West Windsor Arts Council. Many of my paintings have been on display in numerous local art venues, most recently in Ellarslie Open 40.
