Artist Statement: A walk on the beach. Waiting for the sun to rise. These works are monoprints from gel plates. This is a new method of working for the artist.
Bio: The artist has lived in Roosevelt, New Jersey since 1990. The rural nature of the town is reflected in her paintings as well as her fascination with color and how light effects it. She uses that play of color and light to portray her reaction to her world. She has an MFA in Oil Painting, from American University. Her work has been exhibited in regional galleries, one person and jury shows.
