Artist’s Statement: Artwork inspired by nature's geometry, hand-beaded with various faceted acrylic and man-made pearl beads on pink jersey fabric, in a light natural wood frame.
Artist’s Bio:Nomeda is a fashion designer who studied fashion design in Lithuania and United States.Born in Lithuania, Nomeda studied knitwear design at Applied Art Institute in Telsiai, Lithuania and continued her fashion design studies at Fashion Institute of Technology, NYC.For over 20 years Nomeda has worked for various fashion houses as a knitwear and embellishment designer.After years of successful work for different companies, she decided to start her own creative fashion line Jademon.Nomeda’s designs are inspired by her view of nature, the world around her and her desire to bring her own vision of it to the world. She creates beautiful, one of a kind pieces of fashion, such as women’s wear, jewelry, handbags, cold weather wear and various accessories by using different materials & techniques such knitting, crocheting, beading, embroidery, sewing and macramé.Her creative work often involves reused materials such as fabric scraps, beads and other details, that are inspiration to new beginnings.
