Material:Polymer clay & nickel-free posts
Dimensions or size: 1 mm W x 3.5 mm H
Artisan Statement: Polymer clay is an oven bake clay that when properly cured is light-weight, water-proof, and durable. Each pair of earrings is handmade by me using polymer clay and nickel-free earring findings. While I prefer to create with a plan, I find that polymer clay sometimes has a mind of its own. Every piece comes out different, and learning to love each for its differences and imperfections has been a journey in and of itself. Also, nearly all of my packaging and shipping materials are recycled! I use old magazine covers to make earring boxes and repurposed Amazon Prime envelopes for shipping.
Artisan Bio: Hi there, my name is Michaela! My dad shared his passion for art and creativity with me at a young age. Ever since I have been experimenting with different styles and mediums. Geometric designs, unique color combinations, and nature are among my greatest inspirations. I created Bad Begonia Studio in order to share the results of some of these experiments with the world, as well as to be a place for me to further develop my own personal artistic style.
