Artisan Statement: This book is a compilation of poems written over a period of twenty years. The seeds of this project were sown after attending a creative poetry writing class at a local community college. Most of the poems are recollections of India, its culture and traditions, particularly from the viewpoint of an immigrant.
Artisan Bio: Jayant Paranjpe is a retired physician who grew up in Mumbai, India. After graduating from Grant Medical College he emigrated to the USA, and is a resident of New York State. For the past four decades he has lived and worked in beautiful upstate New York. He frequently visits West Windsor, NJ to spend time with his daughter and her family.
