SUMMARY:Tuesdays: Studio Art Fundamentals Two [10-13]
DESCRIPTION:In this fundamentals class, students will build upon their techniques in drawing, watercolor, acrylic paint, and sculpture. Starting with graphite pencils, colored pencils, and charcoal, Jessica will show students how to develop value and texture using techniques such as stippling, hatching, cross-hatching, and blending. Students will transition to watercolor, deepening their understanding of washes, texture, and how to make colors darker and lighter. \n\nStudents will then move onto acrylic painting to learn more about the color wheel, complementary colors, and how to use them in a still life painting.
