SUMMARY:Wednesday: Cool Comics: An Introduction to Narrative Art [13-18]
DESCRIPTION:This course focuses on the exciting art of creating comics and manga while helping students develop their own original stories, characters, and artistic style. Students will explore the creative process behind bringing ideas to life, from brainstorming and character development to designing engaging scenes and building a complete visual story. Throughout the course, students will learn about the history and evolution of comics and manga while practicing skills such as storytelling, panel layout, inking techniques, panel transitions, formatting dialogue, character creation, and comic strip design. Students will also explore how to create dynamic expressions, develop memorable characters, and design eye-catching comic covers.\n\nWhether students are new to comics or already enjoy drawing their own stories, this class provides a fun and supportive environment to strengthen artistic skills, explore imagination, and create original comic artwork from concept to completion.
